The High Street will be completely closed for our Christmas Lights event from 12pm on Saturday 16th November, to allow the charity stalls and attractions to get set up safely.
 

There will be no diversions, as Bank Street will be be two way. With the traffic lights only allowing one direction at a time. There will be access to Church Street/Prince George Street as normal.
 

There is normally a few chancers who ignore the lights during setup, so please be cautious around 12pm!

The High Street will reopen around 7.30pm.
 

We would encourage HGVs to use an alternative route and will have some diversion signs out.
 

Parking is free on the car parks, so please consider parking and walking to businesses within the closure/diversion zone (e.g. Bank Street/Watt Place).
